Not mine. They belong to a friend of mine at KDT German Shorthairs (external link) that she's still got available.

This is Peter, one of her two all liver babies.

Those two on the front porch look like trouble together!

I apologize for the poor photo, scanned from a 5x7 print.

This is Tallahassee Quickstep, a.k.a Tally. He passed away nearly 18 years ago and I still miss him. He was an amazing pointer, retriever and running partner.

Good looking boy - tough to see them go isnt it? Seems especially tough on me for the working dogs since they give so much of themselves to you...

My nearly 11 year old yellow lab Nala. She had a small stroke about a month ago. Scared the crap out of us, but she's recovered about 80% now and doing great. No more hunting tho.

Edit; this was about 4 years and 15 pounds ago. She goes a svelte 70 lbs now.

Awww, these shots are all great and make me miss my GSP's so much (they are at home in England while I am working in Madrid :( ). Here's a couple of our youngest GSP right now (she's 2), but we've had at least 2 GSP's in the family for my entire life.

Mertyl with her most precious possession ...

Mertyl wondering why sitting on the table is a problem ... she is actually an active bird dog, and very good at picking up, despite what these images might show :D

Great bird dogs!

I have a 15 month old English Pointer called Badger. He has Scottish bloodlines as his father is an Scottish import to Australia.

We haven't started any hunting with him as hunting isn't really allowed in Australia but he's pure joy to be around. Such a goofball.

eta - it's amazing watching his head grow and change shape, his head is a lot more dishy since this photo was taken. Apparently their heads change shape their entire lives.

My uncle raised and ran GSP's for years before his death. I always loved his dogs and watching them work a field as a young boy. He would never let me play with them. He said they were work dogs and not pets.

The ones portrayed here are the most beautiful (ugly, yet beautiful) pics Ive seen since watching my uncles dogs.

Wilma looks like she's still growing in to her feet.

Maybe breath a little life into this thread. These are some shots from training clinics and one from a recent hunt.
