Ok just got home from being away, thus I will get a sample shot up soon to show you the noise drama, maybe I'm expecting to much from the old MKIIn, I have recently got myself a MKIII and ISO is clean up past 1600 (daylight) and still clean at 1000 and 1250 (lowlight) but even in well lit conditions I am seeing distinct noise at iso 400 and higher in the MKIIN I sware I used to be able to shoot higher than this even the wife's 600D is clean higher than this, I'll post a photo in about 2 hours for you guys to make your conclusions

I really want to buy a mkIIn, but I see (here, in holland) prices vary quite a lot, what is a reasonable price ?

Butch,
What brand is that reflector on the flash ?

And is that our long-time-no-see good looking gal that usually carries a Noink around ... ? :D

^ Hey George... The reflector is the Lumiquest ProMax 80/20 System... With regards to the photog assistant that night, it's not the Noink gal... She's a Canon-gal!!! Heehehhehehe...

Glad to see you aren't working with Noink girls Butch! Gotta keep it classy!

How do you like the light output of the Lumiquest?

^ RICK!!! Waddup waddup... Hhehehehehehe... The lumiquest setup is pretty good from the weddings/events I've shot... Of course, with all diffusers/reflectors, its effectiveness is subjective based on the rooms dynamics; high/low ceilings, wall colors, blah blah blah... Nonetheless, I do have pretty good results from using it...

:)
