Haven't shot too many games this year but always do enjoy it when I get a request.

1. Drilled to the second baseman who made a great play (of course missed it) to double them up. 300 2.8 and 2x TC.

One more game, at least, to wrap up the season.

I love the last one - looks like the catcher's mitt is smoking!

Dan-o,

those are just great. WB looks fine on #7. Love the last shot, too. Great timing. #5 reminds me of my oldest son at that time. His baseball card from his last year in LL major league, (12 yrs old) lists him at 5' 8" and 155 lbs. The batter in #5 looks about the same size!

Danny, I love your work.

I can only dream about getting my 300 that sharp just by itself and when I tried a new 1.4x II with it, it was so soft I just sent the converter back . . .

So, what's your secret?

I know there are a ton of guys that get the 1.4x II to work nice on 300! I have tried 2 different copies and they both sucked and you get razor sharp crisp shots with a 300 using a 2x converter, I must be doing something wrong.

Wonderful set.

The first one is great! Framed perfectly and that tarp on the backstop looks like a legit muslin backdrop.

Good job turning the chainlink into bokeh.

Nice job ! Cheers.

Really well done images. Nice and clean. Excellent series. Loving the last one. Being a former catcher and all.

Danny,

We can always count on great captures and post work from you. I really like the dirt coming off the glove in #8. Keep them coming!

I like #4 & #8, but all are good. I should look through mine and see what I got of the kids.

Thanks guys.

Doug I've heard a lot of bad things about the 2x but I have found it to be a great combo with the 300 2.8 I'm even surprised on how quick it focuses. Also #3 is with the 1.4 attached.

Here is one from an earlier game with the 2x on. Even at 5.6 the background melts away.
