Maui, Hawaii - My first time

Here are few shots from my first time in Maui.
I dont usually photograph landscapes or much nature, but this was a great vacation and learning experience.
All were photographed with a 5D2 + 35L (sometimes with a S95)

Wow. This shot is amazing. How did you do that? The sand bends one way but the water goes the other way. Neat!

i honestly dont know, lol.
that was an accident when i clicked my shutter while pointing the camera down.
i think my body's motion was in the shape of the sand's curve, but the tide came in another trajectory.

just luck i guess. lol

i love it there. i've never been to any other island.. so my goal is to go the rest when i have time off from school.

Stunning pictures. I love number three! Haleakala is one of my favorite places on earth. It's so surreal. I would love to go back and see it at night. The view of the stars must be unbelievable.

The third one is really fascinating.

everyone said sunrise is amazing there, but its quite a dangerous drive in the dark.

Good job. You know you're in a scenic place when you can get good shots by just blindly clicking the shutter at the ground.

Brave taking just 1 lens! Kudos to you capturing such gorgeous shots!

What an amazing place. I've never been to any of the Hawaiian islands, myself. The closest would be Okinawa, and that was breathtaking! These shots have reminded me I need to hurry up and buy a plane ticket! Thanks for sharing.
