:shock:Here is a quick test shot from this evening. I just received some hardware I have been waiting on that allows me to mount my main lights from the ceiling for quick storage when my studio needs to revert back to garage duties. I'll see how the actual shoot goes tomorrow!

The test shot:

...and the BTS:

Another Angle:

By the way, thanks for all the ideas. I love this thread!

P.S. No need to point out my meticulous OCD... I'm aware of it.

That is a lovely garage :)

Please note that Duff is extremely compulsive ... I have been avoiding going to his place for months to keep from being subjected to his NEATNESS! And every time he comes to my studio he manages to fix or improve something that I then cannot live without, sigh. The only thing that keeps him coming back are my printers: Epson 4880 and Epson 7900. His mind is way, way too orderly! LOL.

That's probably why he visits us so seldom too...opposite side of the fence! Well, there is the small issue of miles too. :)

Dwight/Gary Sr,
You're both full of it! Dwight's one of the nicest people I know (LOL) and my father is in one of those locations that leaves a person wondering "What do I do now that I am here?" OK, I have defended myself enough.
My meticulitous knows no bounds!

Oh, I found a place to store my softboxes when I need the studio to be a garage. $10 bike hanger from Harbor Freight:

By the way, does anyone have a link to the "Show us your Studio" thread? I can't seem to locate it on this little photography forum we're on. :-)

That looks good Gary. I think I see a cobweb up in the corner. Is that a dust bunny under the workbench..... ? ;)

Thanks! I was in the right area, but missed it. Of course, I'm blind in one eye and can't see out of the other.

Another cool idea, man I like your setup! I'm tempted to try something similar, but my garage is always so dusty, dirty and humid that I'd be worried about my gear. Also, you have a nice high ceiling, mine's not much higher than the 8 foot ceilings in my house. I guess I should concentrate on finding more clients rather than worry about my studio space though, lol... not much use to me without someone to shoot! :)
