Nice angle on the flower. Beautiful colors and good focus. Maybe would like a little more contrast? But it has a sort of dreamy feel as is so I'm not sure about that. 8.5/10

A storm just passed and I stepped out on my patio and took this...

7/10
The composition is good along with the color and subject matter. Your settings are a little bit bizarre however. EXIF shows you shooting at 1/100, F11 & ISO 3200. You notice some detail/ sharpness lost with the ISO value, next time try taking the shot with a lower ISO. On the 7D you have good ISO head room, but you still want to keep it as low as possible.

I had to raise the ISO because I didn't want to go lower shutter speed any more and if I opened up the aperture I couldn't get enough of the flower in focus. I supposed slower shutter was an option but I was outside in the breeze and trying to get it as sharp as possible. I'm listening though and thanks for the critique. I consciously put the iso at 3200 but perhaps that was a bad choice, not sure.

It may not be too much of an interesting subject but I really like the DOF and how "artsy" you made the picture. Keep up the good work!

Messing around with lighting today with my friend, I know the photo is not good at all but figured I'd show you guys where im at

I was hoping someone would rate this so I didn't have to, not that it's horrible, I just don't do a whole lot of pictures like that so yeah. I would say it's weird that the nose is like Rudolf and it's kind of blurry or soft...not sure which one. I’ll say 7/10 for this one.

Here is another one of my nephew with his ball, just playing around. I know it’s not perfect…I chopped off his head. I really need to get more than just my 50mm…lol

^7/10 - If his head weren't cut off it would be a print worthy shot.

I will give that 7/10, for me its too busy the shot... maybe a closer shot would be ideal!

9/10 Can't really find anything to comment on. The bit of rock on the right kind of distracts my eye, but that's about it, great shot!

I love the colors and the bokeh, and I'd frame it... just wish the color of the bokeh was a different color than the flower. Probably nothing you could have done about it though. Still love it! 9/10

Odd subject but nice picture. I give it a 9/10. The lighting seems to be proper.

As for odd subjects here is my contribution...
