Couple of shots from the Pow Wow Native American Festival.

Getting this shot is probably 70% luck and 30% skills.

You are not allowed to post pics that large on here. I think you will need to repost them no bigger than 1024 or post a link.
All the very best.

I would say it's soft due to high ISO used, slow shutter speed, and wide aperture. The high ISO is giving you a lot of noise which makes the image look soft. 1/200 is fine but at 200mm at that distance you are away even the 4 stop IS requires a pretty steady hand or a tripod/monopod. Lastly, the wider aperture is giving you a narrower DoF so some things in the photo aren't actually soft they are just not within the DoF. It's mostly the first 2 things though, ISO and shutter speed.

Was it very dark there? It seems like you should have been able to get a much higher shutter speed at 3200 ISO. Were you using any filters?

Hi TuanTime, i was using TV mode during that time and manually set to 1/250 as wanted to able to freeze the motion of the sea lion but apparently is so soft, normally what settings is to capture such moment? and it was quite dark as is cloudy on that day and the event is being sheltered hence the ISO 3200, so the lens is actually not a soft copy? will need to try on weekend to get more result as am busy during the weekdays. thanks! :)

Possibly the first turtle motion blur I've ever seen in #2.
