guess I shouldn't mention that B&H and Adorama both offered the Canon Pixma Pro 9000 Mark II ($450) for $49 after mail-in rebate yesterday.

those things ran out fast!

all it takes is a bit of reading...

for instance, since they restocked their refurb 7Ds, why buy from Canon's website? call their Loyalty Program (after you get yourself a broken Canon P&S), and save some cash.

Canon 7D - $1,087.20

$271 dollars saved, put that towards some glass or a flash.

fat chance of that. people were buying them and reselling for a profit.

people think when the 5D III comes out, the 5D II will come back to the CLP, but I don't think so. If it did come back, it would probably be selling for what it was selling for when it was in the program ($1599), which, by the time the 5D III is out, the current 5D IIs will be around that price anyway, so there won't be any cost savings.

I was lucky to get mine through the program when they had it.

Yep! It's always down to really looking in my opinion. I check the refurbished every two to three days :D

And on top of that having great friends that hear great deals, market watch, etc is always great!

Also I think it comes down to passion…if your passionate about it, you'll take and make time to do it. :D

Just my opinion…that's why I wanted to share asap! :D

that $500 will net you a nice 580 EX II....

or you are $170 away from a brand new 70-200 f/4 L.

call Adorama and ask about their printer. someone posted that Adorama honored the low price.

doesn't hurt to ask...
