great shots! just one question about the covers on the windshields, do those come off during takeoff? I also noticed the thruster ports on the nose covered as well.

I am really going to miss your spectacular shuttle shots! What's next for you? Will you cover the unmanned launches from Kennedy or Cape Canaveral? I'm hoping someone will light a fire under our government bureaucrats and get a replacement manned vehicle going soon.

Thanks you guys.

I will be there till wheels stop of the shuttle carrier aircraft as the last orbiter is delivered to the final destinations. Looks like Atlantis will be last one to wheeled over to the final display site at KSC. So my time with the orbiters has a few more years to go.It will take about 2 more years to put them all at the resting places.

I will be doing other spacecraft both unmanned and manned. It may not be the same as the shuttle but after all these years, it is time to move on. ;-)a

It is a bittersweet time.

Will update with more pictures soon.

Dude you gotta get me in to the last launch, I live in the Melbourne area and have shot a few of the rollouts and three of the launches. I don't think I'm going to be able to get tix to the last one.

Were you the one who shot the fisheye I saw on the Flame Trench on FLToday? Outstanding shots here.
