Yea it's quite impressive i get their catalogs every season as well. Must cost a fortune to send them all over the world.

Yeah, that is what surprises me. :)

It's all that money they've saved by not sending them to me.

Dave F.

Dave think about it !!!!
They cant afford it because Mic C. comes before Dave F. alphabetically

They send that guy two pallets full of catalogs.

I get one.......... Mic sends it to me.

Not to say that this is what they're doing but it wouldn't surprise me if they don't ship to locals. Why do that if you could drive over there?

This! We can't exactly go there and browse. Thus we need the catalog :)
Edit: I just forgot about the internet. Sorry.

Stop whining you can get off your butt and see the things in all their glory! Meanwhile i have to look through the site and e-mail any questions i have which takes days, if i lived there i could of taken a ruler with me and inspected the clearance on the tripod head within an hour. /grumbles grumbles /jealousy. Though i bet my wallet is happy i don't live there

I also get their catalog, its not the most pleasant thing to browse, i prefer the ikea catalogs personally or just the website. I also despise the whole "WE CANT SHOW YOU OUR PRICE !" crap. Theres some of it in the catalog too if i recall correctly.

Did you try to unsubscribe from the catalog using the following link?

https://secure.bhphotovideo.com/find/unsubscribeCatalogs.jsp (external link)

I'm always getting the B&H catalogs also and would rather not receive them (to save a couple of trees since I'm just tossing them into the paper recycling bin when they arrive). I was wondering if there's a way to unsubscribe from the catalog and found the above link. Unfortunately, I need a catalog number to unsubscribe but I don't have that so I'm going to have to wait until another catalog comes in. :|

I have tried, Leo. I also called customer service to see if they could do it or give me special instructions. They told me I can use the link and it may take up to 30 days to remove me from the mailing list. Two years later and I'm still on the list.

I suppose I could keep them, glue a stack together and use them instead of apple boxes.. lolol

You laugh but I was actually using the thick B&H catalog to elevate one of my CRT monitors several years ago before I upgraded to the flat panels. I'm currently using two B&H catalogs, the thicker Pro Lighting catalog and the (relatively) thinner Home Entertainment catalog, together to level my Wacom Intuos tablet to my keyboard. Actually, now that I'm looking at them, I'm really using 3; there's the B&H Pro Audio catalog in-between the two catalog which I missed the first time. LOL
