We were on a backcountry road and came across 3 fawns just born. They were partly on the dirt road, so we waited and enjoyed watching them try to take their first steps. They took cover a few feet into the roadside brush and waited for mom to return. A few hours later we returned and all were gone.

From today. Out working and heard it crying. Mom was about 20 feet away- a familiar doe and apparently has a lot of trust in me.
