GRRREEAT !

now that is the creativeness i expect you to be doing.

lighting is great and all, pose is good,...

but the hearts.. and the rose pedals really makes it memorable..
on the LCD when you showed me was ok.. but finished like this is wonderful..

M.shal, nice shot, but what happened with the skin? it looks... idk, it is over smoothened to me, what method did you use just out of curiosity, I do like the shot though

This was a random idea that came to me one day. I literally thought "I want to put my flash in the middle of that tree and see what happens..." This picture is SOOC, downsized by Photobucket  EXIF should be intact.

QUOTED IMAGE

Set-up shot below. 430EX-II triggered by a CowboyStudio trigger, mounted to an ultrapod II strapped to a tree branch. Flash was in manual, I believe set to full power, with the in-flash wide-angle diffuser on.

QUOTED IMAGE

I tried this as well bout a year ago. It never really lit up/ glowed like I was hoping. I don't think (at least for my idea) that a single strobe would cut it. :/

...screw listing gear,it just sets up preconceived notions...but if you must link (external link)

Elinchrom quadra a-head with deep octa and one diffuser boomed by brian to the far right corner of the image where the branch is.

Overcast day really helped diffuse any kind of shadows in the area, although they are under a 'sort of' canopy of trees in this pathway. All that was needed was a small pop to highlight their clothes and fill in their faces. I think I had stacked ND filters on this too. Can't remember.
