3 strobe set up! Beauty Dish boomed in front of subject, one Vivitar 285HV and AB800 on the sides slightly behind the subject.

First Attempts at Multiple lights

Background is 580EXII with red gell way in the back full power.
Front DLite4 with Kacey BD powered thru VBM, raised high and then angled down and a little bit feathered to avoid hotspot on face. I used the BD to form more of a spot light i think. Power was 4.5 on DLite Scale. Next time will try to keep it near

Triggered by YN RF602, Shot with 5D MKII and 135L

Great work, Gul. Not a huge fan of the red light effect, but the concept came out nicely. Lovely model, and great location for night work. I think I would be more in love with it if the shadows were softer perhaps? I can't quite put my finger on it...

Thanks Jeremy, I think the shadow was hard due to the fact the BD was too far off. Next time will try bringing it closer. This is learned from that day.

I like the harder light in this shot. It goes with her make up for me. I do think however that she would appreciate the elimination of the shadow showing her stomach sticks out a bit over her nether regions. Hope you dont mind.

Nice set!

My tip would be to have the subject further away from the background you are blowing out. This would make less light be reflecting back onto them which somewhat washes out their edges, then you could light them nicely and have a clean white background.

Here's an example I shot today:

There is just something wrong with this picture...and its not the exposure. ; )
