I am looking to find some old stock A series cameras. I have an A720, and my father had an A5-- something. He loves that style and wants another so I figured let me see what is available.

Why do the retailers on amazon sell even the A720 for $500 and more!!!

I bought mine brand new back a few years ago for less than $200. I don't understand this. Are they really selling them for $679??? Does anyone actually buy these???

Please, someone help shine some light on this. I am totally confused as to what I am seeing!

These are probably priced by formula. That is, they are all being priced based on a percentage of the next highest non-Amazon price or something like that. You see it quite frequently on Amazon because many prices do not have a human control factor. The key thing is to always do a quick comparison price search. I'm sure the unsuspecting and gullible occassionally actually buy overpiced items like this.

Because they are trying to rip people off and waiting for that one sucker that was born on the right day! Ignore it, happens all the time.
