0/10, you just posted this one here the other day, ironically you rated the previous photo and commented identically.

Yes, but he changed it in an important way by removing the light above the head - though I agree the by-line "cool" as a critique does not live up to this thread's intention.

This is a really nice shot, the warm tone gives it a nice feel. The shallow depth of feel works well and I appreciate the lighting can't have been easy the noise is quite obvious (but not as bad as to ruin the shot in any way). What I would change about it? Maybe clone out the light (?) just behind the young lady and maybe crop it such that she's on the right hand third line. But a very nice photo (especially considering the undoubtedly awful lighting conditions). 9/10!

My offering is a snap shot of my wee dog, Rusty:

Has she had the baby?

I do like the framing and the wistful look on her face, it is almost as if she is looking towards her future as a mother. If you do this pose again, watch the hand placement!
I'm not husge on the yellow feel of the photo, but that is just MHO.
7/10 :)
Here's min, somethings missing, please tell me what so I can print and give to my friend/? honest CC please!

^ A little soft and the black and white conversion doesn't do much for me. 6/10

@niazmina: Very nice shot here, a bit much HDR for my taste but to each their own on that. Nice exposure it looks like on the photo itself. There is an odd round smudge in the sky on the lower right? But nice I'd give it a 7/10.

Here is mine, trying out a new watermark so if you could critique it as well that would be good. This is a test shot with my new nifty fifty.

3/10.... The scene is busy and full of distractions, there is unsightly gravel in the foreground and fencing in the background. It is also more common to use a long exposure time to blur the path of the water and get that velvety look. The watermark is inoffensive, but is it really necessary?

I usually go for a natural look with my pictures, but decided to go a little crazy with this one....

I really don't know what to think of this one....the subject matter is a little weak and my eyes are drawn more to the spatula and light than the focal point. Seems to lack any appealling contrast or framing for that matter. Perhaps as you say it is just the experimental shot, but subjectively I have to give it 6/10
