Nice photos. That is one of the most beautiful planted tanks I have ever seen!

Do you use CO2? How about fertilizer in the gravel?

Well, this thread inspires me to setup a live plant freshwater aquarium. On the planning stage right now and thinking about using a cable heater for the substrate. I live in NYC. During Winter, the indoor temperature can get cold, in the 60s. Is cable heater necessary for the substrate? Also, what type of CO2 injection system you use?

Minimalist shrimp tank....I've been there done that with the full planted jungle look...I like the more zen look now lol.

It's Fluval shrimp stratum if you were wondering.

I have plants...or a plant :p

I planted hemianthus callichtroides (HC Cuba) all over the foreground....i just have to let it fill before I post another pic. It's gonna be a while!
