there is some excellent 1911 goodness happening on the other page.

here is something cool, this is my m1 carbine, and with it is the dog tags of the man who last carried it in the Korean War.

First, cans, now "giggle-switch"!

I should not look into this thread anymore coz I already told myself that a can is the only thing I need.....but that switch is something to be had! That's a "want". And yes, most of the time, my wants supersedes my needs!

But rationalizing things, the permit would be time consuming (class 3 if I recall correctly, and not just a tax stamp...correct me if I'm wrong though  so I can put that on my to do list  ) the loads of expensive ammo that I would put through it (even buying bulk, still expensive). But, it's just having that switch is all worth it!

And JTX, thanks for coining the term, "giggle-switch"!

It really does make people giggle. The problem now-adays is the typical price for a transferable M16 is $10,000+

Excellent! That should be in a glass case on display somewhere in your home!

We are fighting, believe it or not, to not be like the UK. If you are ever in the states you can shoot anything I got ( still ) at the time!

Interesting Gat. Is that functional???

I don't recall who made it. I do remember he had just retired from the business. I no longer own the set I sold it last year.
