Just got my lens today :) Do you guys store your lenses in the original bag it comes with? e.g keep the foam on the bottom and top in the bag with the lens facing upwards?

Also, let me know if i processed the image to bright/contrast. Dell laptop my only processing machine :(

Some test shots.

Just went out with this beauty for the first time. I haven't received the x2 mk III teleconverter yet, but already I am very very impressed. Compared to the Sigma 150-500, it is a lot more comfortable to carry too (lens doesn't become longer when zooming in). And Oooohh, what a lot of light is coming through it...

The whole build-quality is amazing.....yes, it's an arm and a leg, but still I feel more agile now :D

My best work to date. Captured from third base line about the middle between home and third base. Under the lights....white lights. The runner was out. With a D7 I likely could proove the call.

My lens is face down into a foam base I added. Has to be that way because my locking arrangement between camera and tripods works better for me near the top of the bag. Depending on use I sometimes lock onto the camera boody while most other times I lock onto the lens. My lens comes out of the bag handled by one hand when locking the lens to the body. I tried both ways. The Front Lens down for me seems better. I need not rotate the lens to be aligned for attachment to body. When mounting to the pods the attachment is a natrual one hand movement into the pod locking devise. I am right handed.

My friend who ordered his on Thursday (from Adorama as well) has a tracking number though.

This wait is killing me :(

Ya. The status on Amazon says "Shipping Soon!".... WTF Adorama. I ordered you 4 days ago.

I just wonder how off-balance its going to feel on my T3i... xD oh well. I had the choice to get this or the 5D Mark II. I hope i made the right decision. lol

You're mean... lol. There was no way that i could possibly have afforded both, so i had to pick one. If put in that situation, what would you do???
