I want two: EF 100-400 f/4-5.6L and EF 17-40 f/4L, not necessarily in that order...

I'm going to sell my EF 70-300 f/4-5.6 when I am ready to get the 100-400.

Over time I have traded to upgrade two key (to me) lenses as follows:

70-200MM f/4 --> 70-200MM f/4 IS --> 70-200MM f/2.8 IS MKII :)

85MM f/1.8 --> 85MM f/1.2 :)

Jim -- I keep the Leica D-Lux 7 in the Glove Box just in case!
7D, G5X, 10-22MM EF-S, 17-55MM f/2.8 EF-S IS, 24-105MM f/4 EF L, Leica D-Lux 7

Here's my problem with it, it was to big to carry around. I already owned the 85L f/1.2 and 135L f/2.0 and these lenses are sharper and faster. Another thing about the 70-200mm I don't like is, when using it it's not discrete. People will always look at you and try to ask you question about it. It was a pain carrying it on a long day such as an 11 hour wedding.
