Thread revival....

Taking the camera this weekend for it's full test drive in Tahoe for a week

I finally have a good setup for now until I can afford some L

Separately, I am just getting into Lightroom now and was curious, if anyone has presets that they like to use?

Took this one with a piece of Shade #10 Welding glass. Exposure of a very busy Sunday expressway lasted 5 minutes!

Shot the same day... I had the focus on his eye but he moved his head... Oops. Animals are so camera unfriendly... That's why I had the aperture at f/8.

I just had an epiphany and have a confession: this thread made me realize that I've been having gear lust for waaay too long now. I didn't know that my 40D could capture such awesome pictures.

Although I will still be moving to FF later, I now know that this "old" camera can still compete with the young guns in the market today.

Excuse me, I'll be right back. Gonna go shoot some pictures right now.
