Since the original idea of this challenge was to help us hone our skills, let's go back to a technical topic. This week's challenge is "Bokeh." I know it was also the topic of Challenge #22, but that was some time ago and most of us are new to the Rebel Challenge series since then.

For those who may not be sure about bokeh, check out these links:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bokeh (external link)
or here: https://photography-on-the.net/forum/...ighlight=bokeh or here:: https://photography-on-the.net/forum/...how+to+do+blur

You can check the time here: http://www.worldtimeserver.com/current_time_in_UTC.aspx (external link)

Voting will commence on Monday, July 4th and will run until Wednsday, July 6th, unless, again, a mod changes this.

*Winner will choose topic for the following week

For any discussions please use the main thread here:

My vote goes to PINNACLE. The blur of the poppies in the background blends well with those in focus in the foreground.

If I can vote by just looking at the photos, I vote for PINNACLE. I really like how the poppies pop (no pun intended) even in the bokeh portion. However, if I must follow the rules set in the first post ("Must provide Exif data"), then I vote for dcrymes84 with the unique view of the Ford logo.

I presumed from the Flickr link that the photo was taken June 30 with a 500D, making it eligible. I would agree that is minimal data but lately we've struggled to even get submittals at all. I leave it to the rest of the group to decide its eligibility.

Sorry about the exif just been a mad busy week and put up in a rush.

If it helps

Canon 500D
Canon 70-300L
@108mm
f4.5
1/2500 as it was windy
ISO 400

And yes the 30th as it was a special trip and saddly also my very last shot with the 500D as it is boxed up and for sale.

My vote goes to dcrymes84. It is a well thought out shot and enough detail in the truck too.
