^- nice lighting, only thing id do to improve on it is to get some more Depth of Field to bring the EOS-1 into focus as well

Nobody is ever satisfied. Always seems to be something wrong.

I was looking for that picture! I wanted to try something like that when I rented the 50L, but never got around to it.

Cleaning up the cupboard in the office I came across the p&s I bought in 2006 for my honeymoon in Hawaii.

That's because no photo is ever perfect. Would you rather people just kept quiet instead of pointing out the flaws so the photographer can improve?

Not that there is always something wrong... rather, always a difference of opinion...

would you rather have people tell you what you could work on or have every one say just how amazing it is and yet your not going to get better. I know for me if there is something that people dont like i want to here what i messed up on so that way next time i try something like it i can be sure to think about it. You dont have to do what they say but at least listen and give it a shot.

Critique is more or less needed to be able to improve. The tough part is to write constructive critique - what can be improved or why something don't come out as well as it could.

Few people gets sad/angry or feels diminished by well-written constructive critique since there is something to gain from it - there is a positive feedback loop.

I personally appreciate C&C, sometimes you all see something, that I have been
