I have an Xsi/450D and a 60D. I have two cds of software that came with the cameras. These are the white EOS Digital Solution Disks. One is version 18.1 and one is version 23.0. I assume the 18.1 version is the one that came with the Xsi/450D and the 23.0 is the one that came with the 60D. Am I right?

It really doesn't matter .... unless you are trying to sell one or the other of the cameras, in which case I think you are correct. It's probably driven more by when you bought the cameras then anything else.

If you want to use the Canon S/W, go to the Canon site and download the software you are interested in. Then, insert one of the CDs into your drive and execute the upgrade software (what you downloaded). The first thing that upgrade will do is query your drive to see if you have a valid software to be upgraded. Then, when it finds what it's looking for, the software will install.

I'm selling the Xsi and want to know which disc to include with the sale.

Version 18.1 is older than version 23, so that came with your XSi.
