AE1 - worked fantastically for over 15 years until a cat decided to take a pee in the camera bag that I had left on the floor in a closet I had forgotten to close.

Mine first camera was also an AEI - minus the cat urine!

My first camera was a Hanimex Praktica super TL. After that, because I always worked part-time at local camera stores, I went threw an unbelievable number of cameras.

Canon: FTB, EF, AT1, AE1, AE1program, eos650, rebel2000, elan2e, d30, rebel300d, rebel xti, 1d, 10d, 20d, 30d, 40d.

Nikon: F, FTN, FM, FE, FE2, EL2. nikkormat ftn, ft2, ft3, EL.

Minolta: srt101, srt102, xe5, xe7, xd5, xd11, 500x, 700x.

Pentax: spotmatic500, 1000, ES, ES2, MX, MEsuper, K1000

Mamiya: 500dtl, 1000dtl, XTL.

Konica: autoreflexA3, T3, TL

Rollei: 35me. 35e

Olympus: om1, om1n, om2, om2n

Miranda: sensomat, sensorex

Yashica: FR, 124G.

Mamiya: c33, c220, c330, 645.

Rolleiflex TLR ?model, one with 3.5 lens

That's all I can remember off the top of my head. Bought most of these from people that traded them in. I paid what we gave them in trade which is next to nothing. Sure miss those days. Now there isn't any camera stores left.

I think my first camera camera was a Kodak 110 similar to the one BreitlingFan posted. I do remember it being longer though. After that I got the AL-1. I even had a little Kodak Disc camera I carried in my pocket to catch those terrible party shots. It took crappy pictures but was fun anyways... And lets not forget about the Polaroid. It's probably still floating around here someplace.

Jon.

I shoot with a Little Canon

I cant remember what my actual first camera was but the camera that actually got me interested in photography was my little Nikon coolpix 2100.

Being able to take a picture, see the results, then fix what I wanted to fix made me fall in love with photography.....just took me many years to start getting decent gear :)

Still have the coolpix and up until a few weeks ago it was still in amazing condition, then I dropped it and broke the battery door :(. But she still works :) (with a little tape)

Kodak S100 EF (I think I was about 6-7 years old and got it after my mum)
Olympus AF-10 Super (A little bit later I got this after my mum)
Olympus µ Digital 500 (Bought this when I was 13, it recently died when I dropped it during a party)
Canon EOS 450D (Bought this right after my 17th birthday, I had read a lot about DSLR and wanted one for years)

LOL! I think I have ADS! I was like a kid in a candy store when I worked at the camera shops. I got bored with different systems. I would sell cameras for more than I paid, that was a plus. Then I would get re-invigorated by a new toy. Jobs in camera stores don't pay squat, but the fringe benefits for a gear junkie was great. I had one owner that would throw me several rolls of kodachrome on a Friday and say have fun.

Now that I'm 58 the desire for new toys isn't quite as bad. Haven't upgraded since the 40d.
