I just don't reply to them. On the other forums I regularly attend there is an "ignore" option that blocks them, but I not sure if there is one here.

There is an "Ignore Option" located in the User Control Panel.

I don't know if the ignored member would get any feedback when his PM is rejected.

I usually just reply a lowballer saying no thanks. But I have not had a persistent one!

BH is selling it for $250. Is one of those accessory that a newer model would usually not matter much other than the company added an "X" to the designation. I was pricing the older version for $150 shipped and paypal. He wants me to sell it for $110 because a dealer from Hong Kong is selling it for $170, the newer model. Shipping time is about a month wait.

...well then it sounds like you have a very reasonable case. Either tell the buyer to pay the price or buzz off.

Personally, I don't think he needs a case at all.

Just tell the guy to buzz off. As someone else mentioned, he'd probably be a headache after the sale anyway.

Of course not. It's his item, he could price it at $20 above the retail price and is perfectly within his rights to do that.

How about a simple "No thanks"?
Seems to work for me each and every time.

be thankful the buyer isn't offering you $500 for it and wanting to go thru some escrow company in Nigeria.

I think the poor economy brings these people out of the woodwork.

I feel your pain on the lowballers. I have my truck for sale 9000obo and I had a guy call and say "So do you think we can work something out for about $4000". I shoulda hung up but politely declined.

Ignore the lowballer for a few days and see if your lens sells. If it doesn't then perhaps the lowballer is more correct than you give him credit for.

Lowballers are everywhere. I posted my Canon 10-22mm lens in LNIB condition locally on CL and someone responded with an offer $200 lower than my asking price not a word more of less just $200 less than my asking price. I didn't bother to respond giving them my email.

I've had lowballers that I've actually talked UP to a price we can agree on and sold them the lens.

I make it a policy that I never make a lower offer without being able to link my offer price to another similar lens that had the same asking price as I am asking for.
