Stunning! Is this shot wide open?

Thanks. :)

Well this is at 1.6, so almost wide open.

Thanks. :) Nope, not using any filter on this lens. Gonna have to get a step ring first.

I keep lurking on an 85mm for portraits and you're pushing me towards the Sigma. By saying that I think i'm sold :)

Nice shots Ricku! I think I have seen you post pictures of her before. She has the largest most anime looking eyes I have ever seen. I know nothing about anime, except the look of it, but she must make a pretty good living off her features!

This lens is very good on a crop body and amazing on my full frame!

Thanks for the compliments!

HC: Yup, she is a fashiondesigner for japanese clothing and also does modeling. She is supersweet and I luv her more than anything! :)

I'd never dissuade anyone from getting this lens, but I must say, the reason the picture you "quoted" is so attractive has very little to do with the kegma :) I suspect that particular model would look very nearly as good if shot with the nifty fifty or an old kit lens...

Cool retro look. Hair and dress (and hallway) I would swear were from 1943.

Like the shot Chris, but would like it even better if you could clone out the light just above her head. I find it a bit too distracting. Great shot otherwise!

I was going to say the SAME thing earlier, it looks like he intentionally centred it over her head, however it is extremely distracting.

Oh wow. Great shot.

Am I the only woman whose iris isn't 75% of her eye?
