Canon 5D MARK II Refurbished: GOOD or BAD?

Do you guys think it'd be worth it to buy a third party warranty? If so, who would you buy one from?

Mack seems to be the popular one, but Ive heard some iffy things about their quality/response. SquareTrade is more expensive but seems to get across the board good reviews.

The Canon Refurb web site now lists a 5D Mk II for $2499 (from $1999 a few days ago).
A 1D Mk IV is now $4999 (from $3999 a few days ago).

Surely that is a mistake no? I can get a new body for 2500..

Just an update:
I GOT IT!!!!! RIGHT WHEN THEIR SHIPPINGS TIMES WERE OVER. GAVE THE GUY A FAT HANDSHAKE. 355 ACTUATIONS. COULDN'T BE HAPPIER :D!!!!!!!
