I shopped around a bit (actually a lot) and Henry's price matched with a USA competitor. I thuink I saved $800 CAD off of the posted Henry's price. I was surprised and impressed that they did this. In response to your question I think it is the 2.5 times larger sensor, the 2 times resolution and the fact that I am so tired of never getting 'the big picture'. Great comment though and one that I did ask myself. I did not jump into this purchase lightly. It was a real debate. I am happy, however with my decision. It also reinforced to me that I am taking my photography seriously. I take a lot of pictures. Once in a great while I also take a photograph.

I'm patiently waiting for Canon's next full frame offering and every now and then I load the 5d II into my cart at B&H and then I say, "No, just wait..."
