Swallowchicks posing for me today, resting after their first flight ever. They just got out off the nest.They were at it all day ,playing and flying:):D, for my pleasure;)

Anyone know if this is what they call Barn Swallow? We just call it Swallow here, guessin it means we just have one type.

Cute shots! Yes these are Barn Swallows but we also tend to just call them Swallows in the UK too. You don't get any other swallows in Norway. The only other similar bird you might see is a House Martin, but they're white and black with a shorter tail.

Thx, it's cute little birds and amazing fliers the Swallows, just simply love them, hard to catch airborne though.

It is fun to watch and shoot these cute small birds...but all of these look underexposed to me...
