yeah, re: Eels

I think it depends on the venues really, I have just come back from the gig, the lighting was superb. I did see some of their gigs on youtube before, so just in case, I decided to bring my 85mm 1.8, but didn't need it  But thanks for the tip anyway

Shot Stornoway last night, thought their music was dire
Aloe Blacc tonight, and I don't like shooting rap stars, nothing to do with race.

Shooting a small local festival today that gets some amazing talent, Maplewoodstock in Maplewood, NJ. I had an interesting last Tuesday. At around 5PM I did a promo shoot for the Amida Bourbon Project, ate some pizza then went to Higher Ground in S. Burlington VT for a bizarre two-fer. I was on site shooting Josh Ritter and The Royal City Band and set up a promo shoot for a VT local heavy metal, complete with lots of leather, band in the next room. I did three songs with Josh, did my promo shoot and then went back to shoot some more Josh. Busy day.

Beady Eye, the thing is that I might be bored to kingdom come, because Liam just stands up with his mouth up to the microphone, and nothing of real note ever happens =/

It was Blondie tonight, but we had to stay at the mixing desk to take photos of them.....I wonder if cropping would be of any help...personally doubt it

Bombino tonight, possibly Stephen Marley tomorrow - on the list but waiting for his response on my edits to his release, then Green River Festival this weekend (Emmylou Harris, Toots, etc...). Have fun at Furthur, skifurthur. I'll shoot them next Thursday and Friday.
