Need help understanding post processing.

I like the 1st set of photos. Second set is a different story. I don't think kids at that age should be so made up. The make-up takes away from the quality of it being a kid's photo.

yes i do agree that kids shouldn't be made up but my nieces wanted to put on makeup and get all dress up when i told them that i wanted to do a little photoshoot...so i agree since this is all for fun. thanks for your opinion and no offense taken.

I like them, but as a novice on pp would say that young children tend to have smooth skin, I would say a liitle less on the portrait look. And less white in the eyes they have lost the veins natural look.
Keep them coming.
