http://www.digitalexpression.net (external link)

I have absolutely no web experience, but I think I need a professional looking portfolio if I ever want to get a job in commercial photography, as they generally ask for a online portfolio.

So, I decided a make a website. I ended up using iWeb to do this.

Just want to get some input and see if my site is an acceptable online portfolio, if it looks professional, and what I can do to improve it.

I really wanted to work on the template for now and I will of course be adding more images to it.

One thing I want to ask is that I noticed that my title "digital expression" is a little bit jagged using that font at that size. Any recommendations on fonts that look professional and a bit smoother at larger fonts?

Thanks!

Not a big fan of the font up top but the layout is pretty good. Only fills up half my screen though - but i am on a 27"

Your "portfolio" text at the top is not a link, nor is your "home", but "flicker" works but I dislike the whole flicker layout and presentation.

i think it looks nice. i love the simple stuff.

however the home and portfolio links do not work. also out of curiosity why the white background? to be honest i think it looks real smart but black seems to focus you onto the pictures more? atleast it does to me maybe thats just a personal preference.

''Patrick is a working professional, recent graduate of the University'' sounds to me like ''professional, recent '' has a missing letter/grammar in place it reads fine but i would personally put ''professional, being/although/is a recent graduate''

also that could be because im english *shrugs*

the last thing: ''Patrick is a working professional'' so where is your price/contact info? there very important.

what did you type the font in? photoshop? use illustrator/indesign instead that will be vectored and will not ''jagger''

1001freefonts or dafont is a good place to look for fonts they have hundreds/thousands

Sorry, I should of taken the site down. It's getting a slight overhaul so there's lots of weird stuff going on with it.

Drixar, yes the the wording is weird and being worked on. I just wanted to put something in there as a "place holder"
