that's nice, i should warn you...L only leads to more L. they've got you hooked now, they won't land you until your wallet is empty and you're living in a cardboard box on the street with your massive collection of L glass.

I bought my 70-200 f4L used for $525 a year ago. Absolutely love it. Every time I use it, I swear it's my sharpest glass. Considering the 70-300L IS for the extra reach and only hoping it can be as sharp.

I have 21 L lenses and my first and most loved and many years old is the 70-200 F/4 L, it has been on 4 continents, in almost every weather and is never out of my jacket pocket.

Learn to use it well and it will never let you down.

My 1st L series as well, subsequently supplemented by the 100-400L for more reach, therefore the 70-200 hasn't been used now in a year, but if I were to use it again, no doubt the results would be as good as you will enjoy.

Congrats on a great lens. It was one of my favorites and produces wonderful results. I wish it fit my shooting style more.
