Haven't posted in awhile, but here are a few from a recent shoot for a high school sophomore who was just accepted at a modeling agency and needed some shots for her comp card. Lighting setup was the same in all the shots: 2 580ex2's into a single 24x36 softbox (faster recycle times) triggered w/ cybersync's on manual.

Critiques anyone? Lighting, posing, processing, etc.?

What was your light modifier for the 430ex? Or was it straight 430ex?

It was a 430exII set to 1/4th with white shoot through umbrella just above model camera right.

Camera and settings.
Canon 400d
Canon 50mm F1.8
f-stop @ F2.8
Shutter @ 1/160th

The setup for the first shot was.

Shoot through umbrella @ 1/4th camera left
Back light @ 1/16th @ 105mm directed at the back of the head a little off center
