i find the 50 1.4 to look pretty stellar. Theres a reason why they use it to model the cameras ;)

Sigma 200-500 f/2.8.

Because it's big, green and 27kg.

I think this is one of the FUGLIEST lenses I've ever seen. Even the shade of green is FUGLY!!

As far as the most impressive looking lens from Canon, my vote goes for any of the WHITE super telephoto lenses that they make. I esp like the 400mm f/2.8L I.S. It just screams...ONE POWERFUL BEAST!! Speed AND Power!

Fugly it may be, but the lens' fugliness only accentuates its impressiveness - I mean, it's a big, green, fugly 27kg behemoth! Imagine looking at that thing, next to a 50mm f/1.8...

I find the EF 28mm f/1.8 USM to be a very good looking lens.

yeah, i liked mine. Doesn't have the huge "glass" look on the front element though because of the wide scope.

Best hood design ever. Small hood at wide angle, large one on tele.

Other than that, i dont give a rats *ss how a lens looks.

I always thought the 400mm f4 DO looked cool. Too bad its optical performance doesn't match up to its great looks.

Go to the lens sample photo archive and look up the 400mm f4 DO ($6200) and the 400mm 5.6 ($1300). Check out the submissions and judge for yourself.
