Guys,

Need confirmation. I can see the following in CS4 under file info - raw data:

<rdf:Description rdf:about=""
xmlns:aux="http://ns.adobe.com/exif/1.0/aux/">
<aux:SerialNumber>415793</aux:SerialNumber>
<aux:LensInfo>28/1 75/1 0/0 0/0</aux:LensInfo>
<aux:Lens>28.0-75.0 mm</aux:Lens>
<aux:ImageNumber>31842</aux:ImageNumber>
<aux:FlashCompensation>0/1</aux:FlashCompensation>
<aux:Firmware>1.1.2</aux:Firmware>

Is the image number same as camera shutter count? I can see it incrementing as well.

Tried looking at similar threads but none talks about this easy option. I even downloaded the exif reader but couldn't see any option on shutter count.

Please advise

Pankaj

report back with your shutter count....even though my 5d has the same image sensor as 1ds II i don't get a shutter count, I know damn well there are more than 12 on it. I put my 400d for fun in there and got 491,000,000

The 1D count program only works on older 1D(s) bodies.

And your 5D has a different sensor than the 1DSmk2.
