Reading a few threads about equipment battle scars, thought I'd start a thread on beat up equipment. Rolled off my front seat as I braked suddenly. Hit the floor...battle scar! Still works and I still use it on sporting shoots. No chimping here.

Oh geez... I had that happen to me. I had my 7D with 100-400 attached sitting on my passenger seat. I had to take a leak REALLY BADLY and I saw a rest stop around a corner, so I hit the brakes. Fwoosh, camera goes flying forward and hits the floor. Nothing was damaged, luckily. I didn't realize I was so lucky until seeing this photo!
