Got a couple rolls of velvia 50 back from the lab today. These were shot last winter at the Basilica in Washington DC using a Fuji GX680 and 100/4 lens.

One of my all time favorite photos, shot with a 50-dollar lens, 25-dollar body, and a 3-dollar roll of Kodak Gold:

Yes, but for $75 you really can't beat it... Nice shot!

Shampoo sounds like an unfortunate name for a hair product.

Anyone use the new Portra 400 in 120? It looks to my eye to be one of the best color negative films on the market. Any feedback on this film is surely appreciated.

I got two rolls back from the lab yesterday - I'm going to try to finish scanning them tonight, and I'll post some of the results. So far though, I think this is my new favorite color film, at least for scanning :D

Just discovered there's a public access darkroom in Iowa City. You have to take and pass a test though to be able to use it. Which is totally understandable. Looks like I know what I'm doing next week.
