Like it said, I really want some honest opinions on the site. Me and a buddy are putting together a business and it's in the initial stage. It's hosted by SmugMug and all the design was done by me. Feel free to comment on the images as well, that's what we're all about am I right?

Does the site have good look and an inviting feel? How is the branding?

Ps. Leave me your site and I'll critique yours as well.

SEO-wise, I would like to see your "bio" on your Portfolio page listed on your home page. Other than that it looks good....as much as you can given the Smugmug limitations.

Very good points. I updated a few things and made the title bar much more detailed. The presentation section sure is sparse these days.

Don't know if you can do anything to change this, but on the portfolio page the text stretches all the way across my screen (23"), making it very difficult to read.

same on mine. it isnt that big of a deal, i think when you have a monitor this size you kinda expect stuff to be like that sometimes haha... but good site. Where about in alabama do u happen to be? I am at BSC myself, but from Atlanta. Also your top pic on the portfolio page is not one I would have. I like everything but the pose is just a bit awkward to me (im not big into portraits but its just my opinion). I think you have a ton of great shots of her in your portait section. #5 seems similar and doesnt have an awkwardly placed hand imo. Good stuff!

Thank you. I'm in Enterprise AL for the summer but I'll be going back to school at UAB come this fall. You're not far at all. Thanks for the input regarding that photo, It is a bit awkward haha. She's so gorgeous but not as natural as I would like.

As for the txt stretching across the screen, I'm working on that. I'll Email SmugMug support today about it.

Yeah thats not too far away at all. I believe the problem has to do with 'stretching'. check this out:

Its got the info your looking for (i think) on fixing the type. It might just be something to do with the theme you picked, but it should be an easy fix!

Edit: Looks like it is fixed now, doesn't seem to be stretching across the whole screen!

So you are a "team of photographers" yet there are so few samples of your photography on your site. Many all of the same girl of a single shoot in "portraits" and no photos under weddings.

If you really aren't a "team of photographers", you might consider re-writing that statement to better reflect reality.

Did you look in the sessions? Did you read my description? Putting together a site. Were getting there. What should we call ourselves? A dynamic duo? Tag team? I understand what you mean though. We're obviously not to the stage yet where we need to call ourselves more than we are. we are not advertising the site yet. still trying to get the logistics together.
