I use primes so I would take a 28mm with a 50mm, they work well as a pair.

May be a reason to buy the Zeiss 28mm F2 :D .... I checked the Nikon 28mm 1.4 on ebay and it's expensive than I thought

Since you already have the Zeiss 50/2 that makes total sense as you would get a similar signature with the two lenses. I would have liked to try some of the Zeiss M lenses on my Leicas but they have 1/3 aperture stops and a weird little nub on the focus ring. Really irritating designs and a pity as they make excellent lenses.

Gentleman, let me get your advice...

I'm about to buy some lenses and I've pretty much decided what I want. But want to get your feedback.
This will be for my D700

Sigma 24mm f1.8
Nikon 50mm f1.8G
Nikon 85mm f1.8D

Got a Macro lens coming already.. the Nikon 105mm f2.8.. (older model)

Haven't tried a Lecia so I don't know how different they are in terms of operating them. But I am sure the image quality is out standing from them and would love to try them some day!

The new ZF.2 Zeiss give you the ability to change aperture electronically from the camera. On the older ZF, you had to change the aperture on the lens.

I am not sure about the Sigma but both the new 50mm f/1.8G and the 85mm f/1.8D are well liked

If you're a 24/50 shooter, you will love that lineup. Personally, I'd scrap the 105 for a Sigma 150 though. 85/105 isn't that long on full frame.

Operating them is very different from an SLR; you have to get used to it & not everyone likes it. SLR's are much more convenient and flexible but if you're a street shooter and mainly use 35 or 50mm type lenses they are perfect. The glass is awesome, but unfortunately also awesomely expensive. :(

well yeah the 105 was a compromise because I also have a d5000 crop at work that I'm going to be using with the macro a lot so I didn't want to do 150 on it..

Today i went to develop the film and it was all blank :( .... may be i didn't load it properly or they developed it improperly

it is totally transparent. No markings anywhere. can it happen if B&W film is developed in color film chemicals?
