Allie....... BEAUTIFUL job on the edits. I especially love #1.

It would be an awesome lead image to a story about a flutist, or a cover image for a Music magazine.

Back on language for a moment, do Americans call a person who plays the flute a "flutist"? In Britain it's a "flautist". More of Webster's work, I suspect.

Flautist as far as I know, I've never heard Flutist before. I try not to say it in public though...

I do believe it is flautist. Fl-Ow-Tist. I remember her saying that at one point. But, if it were me I probably would have put "flutist" also.

Unless you are Jean Pierre Rampal, he is a 'flute player'... His words...

I took your guys advice and went back to re-edit them. Here's a few new ones too. Hope these are a little more up to snuff.

I think this image is stunning. I absolutely hate that my first thought was: "this one time at band camp". I am not trying to be funny. I really wish it wasn't the first thought...

It is a really very cool image!

Thanks! And about that band camp thought, I think it's awesome. I love that quote and said it on that photoshoot to make her smile.

Flautist is the "correct" way, but flutist is also an acceptable form in the US & Canada

I do have a question on the beauty dishes though. Is there anyone that makes a collapsible beauty dish - similar to a softbox?

Saw it mentioned by Don Giannatti on his web site.

Looks like a dog cone to me ;) I'm pretty sure that would be an easy DIY.
