Well, I'm making that full-frame jump.

I found a 5D (w/grip) for a nice price. If the camera is in half as good a condition as was described to me, it'll be outstanding. The woman I'm buying it from used it as a backup to a 1Ds MKIII, and she used mainly the 1Ds MKIII.

So, hopefully all goes well, and I'll be adding a full-frame to my gear list around noon tomorrow...

Just looked at your gear list - you will love it... :D

It works a bit like the 20D, from an ergonomics POV, but IQ and VF are a few steps up from the 40D.

Congratulations!

Kind regards, Wim

Congratulations!
This is how I get my 5Dc. From local photographer who kept is as backup for two 1DS cameras.
I was shocked to see how good was condition of it, better compare to my previous "open box" deal for Rebel at big box store.

I can't wait. Having a full-frame and a crop body, I think, will be kinda' nice...

Just received my 5Dc w/grip yesterday...traded a 7D for it. Can't believe how much better the IQ is, especially as old as the 5D technology is. You're going to love it!

I got my 5Dc from a local shop, excellent condition. Lasted a month than the board fried. I brought it back to them and since the also gave 90 day warranty I got another 5Dc that came in afterwards. Near mint and no hiccups at all, extra batteries and all the box and goodies. I love this camera and while the new technology is enticing the IQ is the shizzzzz
