Johnathon - there is a big difference between the lowest price and best price. What you have found is a low price - you wont get what you pay for - but you will pay less to do so.

Best price is one where you are buying from a reputable dealer and get exactly what you are paying for. Often a big difference in price - because when the legitimate seller is going to ship you what you are buying there are real costs involved.

Legitimate sellers are selling the 60D for $899.00 - what were you expecting to get for $459.99 (other than the runaround)

As everyone else has said, it's not legit. I always recommend using reputable vendors such as Amazon, Adorama, or B&H as guides. Their prices are usually the lowest, or close to it. Anyone who severely undercuts their prices is usually someone to avoid.

Just makes you wander just how many dont ask and just order. Certainly enough to keep the Scammers and Baiters in business I guess.

I would rather ask questions and be informed then just order.

Thank you,

Jonathon

Dont worry - we would rather encourage people not to buy than be trying to help them get their money back. ;)

+1

Occasionally you may get a legit "steal" on eBay or Craigslist, or a rare Amazon price mistake. There are closeouts like Target's $150 for the Canon 55-250. And Abe's of Maine will undercut prices of the three vendors above. But in general a price way under that of B&H / Adorama / Amazon screams "proceed with caution."
