it looks great man! real good. for some reason my brain keeps wanting to see it brighter, but i know that that might compromise the look and mood that you've set nicely.
still it's a great shot!:D

Thanks Monday and you are exactly right, I worked for a long time trying to get the right lighting on this one.

The idea is that it should not be too easy to see, like you need to really look at it, or it loses the mood and the message of the piece- see my Flickr if you want, but it is called "Walk of Roses" and has to do with your final moments.

I'll post up some shots soon the only thing I wish it had is Microadjust, which is nonsense that Canon didn't include it.

Yah know surprisingly I have Sigmas and not a single one of my lenses needed to have MA on it. They all came out tact sharp when I was using the 60D, however, on my XSi I had to keep sending my lenses in. Just a thought?

Hey! Good News! Microsoft created a new Camera Codec Pack for viewing photo formats like Raw in Windows Explorer!

Yaayyyy!

http://www.microsoft.com …/en/details.aspx?id=26829 (external link)

And it looks like it works for virtually all Canon DSLR's!

Yaayyy!

except the 60D, G12, and a few others... including the Nikon D7000   in fact any model released after the 7D may not be supported - I have not looked extensively yet...

I downloaded it and am testing it... it claims it works in Windows Explorer, but not mine... yet. Have to restart my system because I just download the silly Windows Live Photo Gallery thingy...

Seems funny to post "good news" about something that does not support the 60D IN the 60D forum...how is this good news for my 60D?

So I can view the 60D Raw files in the Microsoft "Windows Live Photo Gallery" (right-click a raw file and click "Preview") - although on my win7 64bit machine - its very sluggish....

As for displaying in Windows Explorer which is what many of us really want - does not work on mine. So hopefully M.S. is working on an updated version.
