Just downloaded and tried it out myself before I posted this online for other people. Works well so far.

Screenshots from my own PC to show it working (Please excuse the bad photos; It's been a while since I took photos again):

Note the .CR2 file extensions. This is a much needed Windows update :D

awesome. it's pretty fast too. would be nice if there was an option in windows viewer to process the pics a bit more and make the pictures sharp as they should be

There have been free codec's for a long time for this. But glad to see that Microsoft doing it nativley now.
