Or Yn-467 if money is really tight but I would spend the extra $20 for the 468. You get a better user interface and Multi mode.

I would save up for a Canon 430EX II, especially if you going to use it outdoor. High speed sync is very useful for outdoor when using as a fill light.

And just let you know the yongnuo won't support the wireless function on the 60D, only TTL when mounted on the hot shoe.

Sigma 160 is nice and powerful, has E-TTL, tilt/swivel head, IR slave and everything for $150.

I just bought two of them at work for the office.

thanks a lot!! yeah, i also told him to get the yongnuo if he's really out of budget. but i said get 430exII like mine, just save a little more, like thestone11 said. im happy with it

@sam6644, well, before i let him buy the sigma, id rather give him more money to get canon 43exII:D

btw, what is the max high speed sync of the 430exII? never tried it yet.

What do you consider cheap?

A used 420EX (no manual but a decent flash) can often be had for between $100-125 on eBay. For $150 or so, you can get a used 430EX which is a really great flash (I like it better in some ways than the 430EX ii).
