I'm starting school soon full time for photography and i'm wondering if anyone can recommend a good backpack. The one I have now is extremely uncomfortable and advertises I'm carrying expensive things - which I don't want.

I'm looking for something that is:
Space efficient
Stylish
Safe in protecting gear
comfortable

No price cap since I will be using it for a long time to come hopefully. Thanks!

There are hundreds of topics on bags on here just search. There is even a sticky about them at the top of the forum.

I use a Lowepro Slingshot 202 AW but everybody has their own tastes

from the posts we have no idea of what is to be carried. Personally I love Lowepro Vertex backpacks. They come in the small 100 to the HUGE 400.

Much has to do with exactly what is to be carried....and for how long under what conditions.

I think a Lowepro Fastpack 350 would be great for you.

I'm a happy Canon SLR and Leica rangefinder user. bw!

Which zoom and which prime? A bag for a 70-200/2.8 and 800/5.6 would be completely different than a bag for an 18-55 and 50/1.8.
