Hi Guys,
My daughter had her first holy communion on the weekend and as I was sooo stressed with the preparations I asked my hubbie to take the photos for me... Im really hoping to be able to edit these photos but my skills in ps are limited. Can anyone suggest how I can improve them... I wish I could get rid of the shadows under the eyes.. brightening the whole image I think I can do. If you could help I would really really appreciate it.

My shot at it. I usually really pixel peep but this is lower res so its a little less in depth than I normally would do.

A little tricky not knowing her natural skin tone and with the mixed lighting on her dress the LHS is too blue and the RHS too red

EDIT spent a little more time on it

btw If you are using PS CS then you can use the healing brush under the eyes to help with the shadows. That is what I did above.

Thanks guys. I like the results. I've posted low res pictures?? how can you adjust them on high res ones when I can't post high res ones? Great work though I really appreciate it. Now what do I do?? Just right click copy? I really appreciate everyone's help

You should really post the original, or link to the original if you want someone to edit it for you and give it to you. Otherwise its just an edited small photo that you can't do anything with.

How does the focus look in the originals? These look soft/OOF (which could be caused by the compression).

No, I only brightened and sharpened the catchlight that was already there.
