Holy crap, looks like I'm going to get it back! Turns out a guy I talked to for a while grabbed it when he left because he couldn't find me (I was outside dealing with some glass bins). He found me on FB and is coming to drop it off. Strange...but either way.

Too scary of a way to learn a lesson. I will NOT be making any similar mistakes in the future.

That sounds great, Logan.

Note: I tried out the exif viewer posted earlier and it displays my camera body info in great detail, and info about the random pic I chose...and it displays an internal serial number, which appears in the info about the lens. Hmmm. I need the check another lens or two and compare to see if that is the lens ID imbedded in the lens.

Yeah I'd have him bring it back to the bar.

And look into a personal article policy with State Farm, they are VERY cheap annually and will protect you from theft.
