Hi,
As the author of this article, I appreciate that you took the time to read and post it here, but I would appreciate it even more if you kept it to a blurb or small excerpt/summary so people would actually click on the REAL article that I took the time to write out. This is how I make a living and again, I appreciate the support but clicks pay the bills.

I just watched a "behind the scenes" episode of No Reservations with Anthony Bourdain, and they mentioned that they use Canon 7d bodies for some scenes. Saw a few L lenses, too.

They were using a canon on the deadliest catch. They had a behind the scenes episode a couple off weeks ago, i spotted a dslr being used in a few shots.

Here's to hoping the 5D3 can do 4K and 1080p at 60fps!

why? just to have .... i am cool with that.

but to actually see a difference.... not really possible.
It is more marketing than hype. Mostly brought on by Sony in the cinema world.

I have a feeling canon wont make the 5D mark 3's price tag approachable by any means compared to the 5d mark 2, Cashing in on the video capabilities is next on their agenda imo.
